    * Instead of having the version string hard coded in [[https://github.com/suerfu/TesseractSim/blob/77b7b87a922fad24ce41b275373e6ce6293f3821/src/RunAction.cc#L29|RunAction.cc]], get the version from git repository with git describe and write it into the ROOT output.
