====== Vidyo ======

Vidyo is the new Conference Solution from CERN.

Here we collect additional hints and documentation.

===== Linphone =====
Linphone is an open source internet phone software.
It's available in most distributions and preinstalled on the OpenSuse machines at the institute
With Linphone you can connect to the CERN gateway via internet.
From there you dial into a meeting just as you would do using the phonebridge.
You thus don't need to install the Vidyo Client.

To connect follow the following steps:
  - Start Linphone (You do not need any account, so just click the Account assistant away.)
  - Under //Sip adress or phone number// enter: ''user@vidyogw1.cern.ch''
  - Click the green connect button. (A new tab will open showing call information and you will hear the familiar Phone-Bridge voice)
  - Switch to the //Keypad// tab and follow the instruction of the voice in you head

(To get rid of the Account assistant just tell it you already have an account and enter dummy information.)
