===== Introduction =====
The bookkeeping gives you the filenames of all data-files.

The quickest way to look at the bookkeeping is via the [[https://volhcb17.cern.ch/DIRAC/ | Dirac-Webinterface]] (Data > Bookkeeping).
You find data usually under a path like: ''LHCb/Collision11/Beam3500GeV-VeloClosed-MagDown/Real Data/Reco12/Stripping17/90000000 ( Full stream )''

===== Finding Monte Carlo Files =====
If you are looking for Monte Carlo files, make sure to change the query order to "Event type"-first. 
Otherwise you will need to search through many folders to find the files you are looking for.
To get more information on the Event Types see [[davinic:eventtypes]].


===== Starting the bookkeeping locally in Zurich =====
Just log into one of the grid-machines. 
You can then start the bookkeeping browser as on lxplus.
